Description
Teriparatide
Also known as: Forteo, PTH 1-34

When administered intermittently, it promotes greater activation of osteoblasts compared to osteoclasts, leading to an overall increase in bone formation. This bone-building effect sets it apart from antiresorptive medications used for osteoporosis.
