FOXO4-DRI is an experimental senolytic peptide being studied for its ability to selectively target and remove senescent, or “zombie,” cells that contribute to aging and impaired tissue function. It functions by interfering with the interaction between the FOXO4 and p53 proteins, potentially inducing programmed cell death in damaged senescent cells while sparing healthier ones. This compound has drawn significant interest in the fields of longevity and aging research due to its potential to enhance tissue performance, support cellular regeneration, aid recovery, and promote a longer period of healthy aging.

• Status: Preclinical stage – supported by extensive animal studies, but human trials have not yet begun. Evidence based on animal research.
