Description

CJC-1295 (No DAC)

Also known as: CJC-1295 DAC, CJC-1295 no DAC, Modified GRF 1-29

CJC-1295 (No DAC), sometimes referred to as Mod GRF(1-29), is a synthetic analog of growth hormone–releasing hormone (GHRH) that promotes the body’s natural, pulsatile release of growth hormone. Unlike its long-acting counterpart containing DAC, this version acts briefly and aligns more closely with the body’s natural GH secretion pattern. It is frequently used in research related to recovery, improved sleep, lean muscle development, fat metabolism, and anti-aging. To boost the amplitude of GH pulses while preserving a more natural hormonal response, it is often combined with Ipamorelin.

Status: Investigational – Phase II trial halted. Removed from FDA Category 2 in September 2024 for review by the PCAC; anticipated reclassification to Category 1, as noted in the HHS announcement dated April 15, 2026. However, it remains classified as Category 2 under current regulations until an official FDA rule is issued. PCAC review scheduled for July 23–24, 2026. Evidence level: Supported by human trials.
Typical dosage: 100 mcg per day (without DAC) or 2 mg per week (with DAC), administered via subcutaneous injection. Dosing frequency ranges from daily (without DAC) to one or two times weekly (with DAC).
Studied for: Enhancing growth hormone function, increasing muscle mass, and promoting fat loss.
