Tesamorelin

Tesamorelin is a synthetic, stabilized version of human growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) that activates the pituitary gland to increase growth hormone production. It primarily targets visceral adipose tissue (VAT), leading to its reduction, with little impact on subcutaneous fat—effects thought to be driven by growth hormone-related fat breakdown. Best known as the active ingredient in Egrifta®, it is also one of the few peptides with FDA approval and strong clinical data supporting reductions in deep abdominal fat while helping preserve lean muscle mass.
